Allan Rakowsky

Allan Rakowsky, a deeply respected member of KPK Law LLP, passed away in November 2024. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Allan dedicated his distinguished career to the practice of real estate, corporate, and commercial law.

Throughout his decades of practice, Allan built a reputation for his integrity, intellect, and unwavering commitment to his clients. His expertise spanned a comprehensive range of legal services—from real estate transactions, development, and financing, to corporate structuring, acquisitions, and dispute resolution. He also provided invaluable counsel in municipal, planning, mortgage litigation, and estates law.

Allan’s contributions extended well beyond his legal work. He was actively involved in the professional community, serving as a director on the Certified General Accountants of Ontario – Public Accounting Licensing Review Committee, as Honorary Legal Counsel for the Reena Foundation, and as a member of the Professional Advisory Group for Baycrest Foundation.

Known for his thoughtful mentorship, precise legal mind, and quiet humour, Allan was both a trusted advisor and a cherished colleague. His influence continues to shape our firm’s approach to excellence and client service.

As we remember Allan, we remain committed to honouring his legacy by upholding the professionalism, compassion, and dedication that defined his practice. His impact on the KPK Law team—and on all those fortunate to have worked alongside him—will not be forgotten.
